Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Dotmos. By accessing or using the Dotmos platform at dotmos.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Dotmos
Dotmos is a marketing platform that connects to your Google Analytics 4 account to deliver plain-language insights, reports, and dashboards. These Terms govern your use of the platform, website, and all associated services (collectively, the “Service”).
2. Eligibility
To use Dotmos, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
3. Accounts and Registration
When you create an account or join the Dotmos waitlist or beta program, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your login credentials
Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Dotmos reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that provide false information.
4. Beta Program
Dotmos is currently in a beta phase. By participating in the beta program, you acknowledge that:
The Service is in active development and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
Features, pricing, and functionality may change at any time without notice
Beta participants who provide meaningful feedback will receive lifetime access to Dotmos as described in the beta enrollment communications
Dotmos makes no guarantee of uptime, data accuracy, or feature availability during the beta period
Your feedback, suggestions, and bug reports may be used by Dotmos to improve the product without obligation to compensate you
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform in an unauthorized manner
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission
Impersonate any person or entity
6. Integrations and Third-Party Services
Dotmos integrates with Google Analytics 4. Your use of that integration is subject to the terms and privacy policies of Google. Dotmos is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
By connecting a third-party account (such as GA4), you grant Dotmos the right to access and process that account’s data on your behalf solely to provide the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and technology comprising the Dotmos platform are owned by Dotmos and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Dotmos branding, trademarks, or proprietary technology outside of using the Service as intended.
You retain ownership of all data you bring to or create within the platform, including your connected GA4 data and any reports you export.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Fees and Billing
Dotmos is currently offered in a free beta phase. When paid plans are introduced:
Pricing will be communicated in advance
Early adopters and beta participants with lifetime access agreements will be honored per their enrollment terms
Subscriptions will renew automatically unless cancelled
Refund policies will be published at the time paid plans launch
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DOTMOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure
Results or insights generated by the platform will be accurate or complete
The Service will meet your specific business requirements
This is especially applicable during the beta period, where the Service is under active development.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOTMOS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
In no event shall Dotmos’s total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dotmos and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content or data you submit to the platform
13. Termination
Either party may terminate your access to the Service at any time. Dotmos may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Washington State, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.
15. Changes to These Terms
Dotmos reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notify users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
